    The roper boot first appeared in the 1950's as a technical response to the requirements of rodeo riders. A departure from the traditional cowboy boot, ropers have a shorter heel and shaft and a comfortable, rounded toe, designed for practical wear on and off of a horse.

    Unmarked's Roper pays homage to this tradition, hand-making their boots in Leon, Mexico's shoemaking capital. Built from a deep and rich Brown Typhoon pull up leather from Leon's LEFARC Tannery, a leather which shows a high range of expression with good wear, and finished with Vibram 700 half soles, these boots are beautifully understated and ready for a good time.
