Our inaugural collaboration with Oldspeed MFG, the Oldspeed MFG x F&P "Keystone Boondocker Boot" celebrates our mutual home, the Keystone State, Pennsylvania. Oldspeed MFG is a one man operation run out of Media, PA by Dave Corey. Dave's stunning handmade boots caught our eye at Stitchdown's Boot Camp in 2024, and we knew we had to find a project to do together.
At Dave's suggestion, to stay on the Keystone theme, we decided to use leather from Wickett & Craig, a tannery based in Pennsylvania and one of the few remaining American tanneries. The boots are made with a stunning Navy Traditional Harness, a glossy leather that highlights the material's natural grain. The boot's are hand-lasted on Dave's service boot last, a last with medium volume, instep, and arch, and a good amount of heel height and toe spring. The waist and heel are McKay stitched, with Wickett & Craig midsoling. These boots feature brass eyelets, a Dr. Sole Raw Cord full sole, and pigskin lined vamp and eyestays.
The Oldspeed Boondocker fits true to your Brannock device size, and are available in D and E widths.
