  • Description

    The U.S. Army first issued a denim working uniform in 1909. Worn while performing manual labor, this uniform was in continuous production until 1940, save for a brief departure during WWI. The Denim Working Trousers are a Buzz Rickson's reproduction of the pants worn as a part of this uniform.

    Reminiscent of Levi's work pants from the late 19th century, these trousers featured distinctive, large front patch pockets, a cinch back in place of a rear yoke, and a full straight leg typical of silhouettes from the era.  

    Cut from a lightweight, densely woven 10oz denim, which yields really nice vintage fades with good wear, the pants are finished with period correct details like thin belt loops, U.S. Army branded four eye buttons, and a Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot wash tag.
